NCA diversity groups are an opportunity for officers to meet, share ideas and raise concerns about issues that affect them. We involve our diversity groups in all aspects of working life and consult them when we are considering changes.
The Tactical Equality Forum (TEF) maintains oversight across all protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation). The TEF works closely with our diversity groups and inclusion diversity and equality representatives to raise and resolve issues.
As an agency we are committed to supporting our LGBT+ officers in the workplace, and work closely with Stonewall. We are a member of the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme and have recently signed up our leaders and our agency to the No Bystanders campaign tackling bullying and abuse toward the LGBT+ community. We have regularly appeared in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers list.
NCA leaders and officers march alongside law enforcement and emergency services personnel at Pride Events across the country to increase our visibility within the LGBT+ community.
